Export Price List Bulk Prices Tool for BigCommerce
🔧 Quick Info: Export Price List Bulk Pricing pulls quantity-break pricing tiers from one or more BigCommerce Price Lists into a CSV or Excel spreadsheet. Each pricing tier is exported as its own row and includes the name of the Price List it belongs to.
What It Does
Export Price List Bulk Pricing pulls the quantity-break pricing tiers stored inside your BigCommerce Price Lists into a spreadsheet.
Each pricing tier is exported as a separate row and includes the product SKU, minimum quantity, pricing type, amount, and the name of the Price List where the tier is stored.
Only Price List records that contain bulk pricing tiers are included in the export. Records without quantity-break pricing are skipped.
Price List Bulk Pricing vs. Product Bulk Pricing: This tool exports bulk pricing stored inside BigCommerce Price Lists. To export quantity-break pricing stored directly on products, use Export Product Bulk Pricing.
The exported file uses the same structure accepted by the Price List Bulk Pricing Updater. You can export the current data, make changes in the spreadsheet, and import it back into BigCommerce.
When Should You Use This?
- You want a backup of the bulk pricing tiers stored in one or more BigCommerce Price Lists.
- You need to audit or review quantity-break pricing across customer-group Price Lists.
- You want to compare bulk pricing between multiple Price Lists.
- You plan to edit the pricing tiers in a spreadsheet and re-import them using the Price List Bulk Pricing Updater.
- You need a correctly formatted spreadsheet containing Price List bulk pricing data.
Before You Get Started
- Your store must be connected to BigCommerce with permission to read Price List information.
- Know which Price Lists you want to include in the export.
- Decide whether you want the finished file in CSV or Excel format.
- Confirm the email address where the download link should be sent.
How to Use It
1 Open the Tool
Open the Export Price List Bulk Pricing tool from your BigCommerce tools dashboard.
2 Select the Price Lists
On the Select Price Lists step, choose one or more Price Lists to include in the export. The field is searchable, making it easier to find a particular Price List by name.
3 Enter the Filename
On the Export Options step, enter the filename you want to use for the exported spreadsheet.
4 Choose the File Format
Choose the format for the exported file:
- CSV – A simple, universal format supported by most spreadsheet, database, and import applications.
- Excel – An Excel workbook that can be opened directly in Microsoft Excel and compatible spreadsheet applications.
5 Confirm Email Delivery
Confirm or change the email address that should receive the download link when the export is complete.
6 Start the Export
Submit the export. The tool creates the file as a background job, so you can close the page while it runs.
7 Download the File
When the file is ready, you’ll receive an email containing a download link. Open the link to download the completed CSV or Excel file.
Selection Reference
On the Select Price Lists step, choose one or more Price Lists by name. Only bulk pricing tiers belonging to the selected Price Lists are included in the export.
What Gets Exported: Only Price List records that contain one or more bulk pricing tiers appear in the file. Records without bulk pricing are not included.
File and Field Reference
The exported file always contains the following columns:

| Min Qty | The minimum quantity at which the pricing tier begins. |
| Type | How the Amount is applied. Possible values are price, percent, or fixed. |
| Amount | The price, percentage discount, or fixed discount amount assigned to the tier. |
| Price List Name | The name of the BigCommerce Price List containing the bulk pricing tier. |
Ready for Re-Import: The exported spreadsheet uses the same column structure accepted by the Price List Bulk Pricing Updater. You can edit the file and import it back without restructuring the columns.
Troubleshooting and FAQ
A record is missing from the file
Only Price List records that contain bulk pricing tiers are exported. Records without quantity-break pricing do not appear in the file.
The export file is empty
The selected Price Lists may not contain any bulk pricing tiers. Run the export again and choose a different Price List, or verify the Price List records in BigCommerce.
I didn’t receive an email or download link
Check your spam or junk folder and confirm that the correct email address was entered on the final step. You can also review the completed export in the tool’s History.
