January 6, 2025 – Shopify Tools Coming Soon!
As we begin the new year, we’re happy to announce that we will soon have tools available for Shopify. We know many BigCommerce store owners also operate Shopify stores, and we’ve listened to your requests to support that platform as well.
Our initial release, scheduled for January 2025, will have three tools available for use immediately, these include:
- Inventory Updater
- Missing Images Finder
- Missing Data Finder
We plan to introduce additional tools throughout the first quarter to enhance the offering for Shopify users.
If you do not currently have a Shopify store and are interested in seeing what the platform offers, please contact us at support@yourstorewizards.com and we will provide you with a 100% FREE store that you can use for testing and exploration. You will incur NO CHARGES for this store unless you decide to make it live, so there is no obligation or commitment to either Your Store Wizards or Shopify.

November 25, 2024 – Usage Limits Raised for Basic (free) Subscribers
From now until December 15, 2024, Basic (free) plan subscribers can use any of our basic tools three times per day instead of just once. This temporary increase is our way of saying “thank you” and easing some stress in case you need to make last-minute updates or correct an upload error.
November 22, 2024 – A Reminder About Scheduling Jobs
With Black Friday and Cyber Monday just days away, we want to take a moment to remind users about the scheduling feature that is available with a Premium subscription.
For example, if you’re running a Black Friday promotion that starts at 8am and ends at 5pm, you can upload your price changes today and schedule the job to run Black Friday morning! Schedule another job after the promotion is over to remove your sale prices. It doesn’t get much easier than that.
If this will be the first time you’re using the scheduling feature, please take note of the following:
- The time you select is the run time for the tool to begin processing your upload. It is not the time the updates will be complete. The length of time it takes for a tool to run and process your upload depends on the number of records it needs to update. If you have a promotion that starts at 8am, we suggest a schedule time a few minutes in advance if you have a large number of records to update.
- If you normally don’t request an email to be sent when a tool completes its run, we suggest you request one for scheduled jobs as this email will confirm the tool ran and will also make you aware of any errors that may have occurred so you can quickly correct them. Errors are only generated when the tool is run.
- The scheduled day and time is based on the time zone originally set when your account was created. We encourage you to verify your time zone by selecting Stores from the dashboard, clicking Edit next to the store you want to verify, and then make sure the proper time zone is selected. If making a change, be sure to click save changes. Only those with store owner access can access these settings.
- We encourage you to test out scheduling before sensitive holiday promotions to make sure you’re familiar with how it works. You can do this by creating a test item or two within your store, making them not visible, and scheduling various updates.
- Scheduling is only available to users with a Premium subscription. Basic (free), Plus, and tools purchased à la carte are not eligible for scheduling.

October 2, 2024 – Enforcing Import Limits & Price Changes
In order for us to continue to balance out the support and service needed for our base of both free and paid subscribers, we’re making the following changes to our plans which will go into effect on November 1, 2024:
- Basic (Free) Plan – We will continue to allow the basic tools to be used once per day, however, file imports will now be limited to 1,000 records at a time.
- Plus Plan – Basic tools will continue to be used on an unlimited daily basis, but file imports will now be limited to 5,000 records at a time.
- Premium Plan – Basic and advanced tools can be used on an unlimited daily basis, and file imports can still contain an unlimited number of records.
Additionally, we will be implementing a price increase for new users and those who resubscribe after canceling service for both our Plus and Premium plans and two advanced tools:
- Plus Plan – will increase to $10 per month, or $99 per year.
- Premium Plan – will increase to $30 per month, or $299 per year.
- Price Updater and Inventory Updater will increase to $5 per month, per tool.
For those users who pay monthly for a Plus or Premium plan, as a gesture of goodwill, we will continue to honor that rate through at least September 30, 2025. For those who pay annually your subscription will renew at the current rate at the time of renewal.
Current users of the Price Updater and/or Inventory Updater will have the current rate honored through at least September 30, 2025.
In the event a subscriber cancels any of the above subscriptions and re-subscribes, grandfathered pricing will not apply to the new subscription.
October 2, 2024 – Bulk Coupon Creator Import Limits & Price Change
In an effort to continue to make this app available to BigCommerce store owners, we are forced to make a few changes to the app which will be effective November 1, 2024.
Usage Requirements
The Bulk Coupon Creator is used by merchants of all sizes, with some creating just a few thousand codes, while others create several hundred thousand.
Processing these codes, regardless of how they are created, is a server intensive process both on our end and at BigCommerce. Our team constantly monitors and balances server load to provide optimal performance for you, us, and BigCommerce. We’ve also implemented various improvements to the creation and validation process to minimize server load issues.
After consulting with BigCommerce, we are implementing further steps to increase performance, however this will come with a new usage limit.
For those who create coupon codes via the wizard, the maximum number of coupons allowed to be created will remain at 500,000. However, we will no longer allow an unlimited number of codes to be imported. Codes uploaded via a CSV file will now also be limited to 500,000 at a time.
Price Increase
While price increases are something we don’t take lightly, our costs associated with running and supporting the Bulk Coupon Creator app have gone up considerably. Effective with November 2024 billing, the cost of the app will increase to $30 per month.
For those that would like to continue to use Bulk Coupon Creator there is no action needed on your part.
Want to Cancel?
If you installed the app via the BigCommerce app store, and access it via the backend of your store, simply to go Settings > Apps > My Apps and uninstall. Billing will automatically cancel once the app is installed.
If you’re using the Bulk Coupon Creator via Your Store Tools, you can cancel by clicking on Billing from your dashboard and clicking “cancel” for the Bulk Coupon Creator.
