The Price Updater Tool offers an efficient method for merchants to make rapid adjustments to their product prices. By utilizing a .CSV file, users can effortlessly update the price and compare-at price of their items. This tool simplifies the otherwise tedious task of manual price updates, ensuring accuracy and saving valuable time for store owners.
Step 1: Create Your CSV FIle
The Price Updater Tool allows you to update prices by uploading a CSV file.
To begin, you will first need to create a CSV file with your pricing data. Your CSV file can contain any of these supported fields:
- SKU – the item’s SKU.
- price – the regular, everyday selling price of the item, OR, the sale price of an item if the compare-at price is used.
- compare-at – the regular, everyday selling price of the item if price contains a lower price such as a sale price.
Step 2: Launch Tool & Select File
To begin, launch the Price Updater Tool from the tile on the Your Store Tools dashboard.
Step 3: Map Your Fields
Map the columns in your CSV file to the appropriate fields, then click Next.
Step 4: Select Your Notification Type and Submit
By default, Your Store Tools will provide a notification on the dashboard as well as a notification via email when the job is complete. If you choose not to receive a notification via email, you can turn this option off on this screen, or change the email address it will be sent to.
Once your selection is made, click Submit to finish.
