🔧 Quick Info: Export Price List Pricing pulls pricing records from one or more BigCommerce Price Lists into a CSV or Excel spreadsheet. Each row includes the product or variant SKU, its Price List prices, and the name of the Price List where the record belongs.

What It Does

In BigCommerce, a Price List assigns custom prices to specific customer groups or storefronts. Each Price List entry connects a product or variant SKU to one or more prices that override the product’s standard pricing for the customers and channels assigned to that list.

Export Price List Pricing pulls those records into a spreadsheet so you can review, share, back up, or edit your Price List pricing outside BigCommerce.

The tool lets you select one or more existing Price Lists and exports every pricing record from those lists, including the SKU, regular price, sale price, retail price, MAP price, and Price List name.

The export runs as a background job, so you don’t need to keep the page open. When the file is ready, you’ll receive an email containing a link to download it.

When Should You Use This?

Before You Get Started

How to Use It

1 Open the Tool

Open the Export Price List Pricing tool from your BigCommerce tools dashboard.

2 Select the Price Lists

On the Select Price Lists step, choose one or more Price Lists to include in the export. The selection field is searchable, so you can type part of a Price List name to narrow the available choices.

3 Enter the Filename

On the Export Options step, review or change the filename. A default filename containing the current date is provided automatically.

4 Choose the File Format

Choose the format for the exported file:

  • CSV – A plain comma-separated file that can be opened by most spreadsheet, database, and import applications.
  • Excel – An .xlsx workbook that opens directly in Microsoft Excel and compatible spreadsheet applications.

5 Confirm Email Delivery

On the Email Delivery step, confirm the email address that should receive the download link. Your account email is filled in by default, but you can change it.

6 Start the Export

Start the export. The tool creates the spreadsheet as a background job, so you can close the page while it processes.

7 Download the File

When the export is complete, you’ll receive an email containing a download link. Open the link to download the finished CSV or Excel file.

Troubleshooting and FAQ

I didn’t receive an email

The export runs in the background and sends a download link when the file is ready. Give the job a few minutes to finish, then check your spam or junk folder and confirm that the correct email address was entered on the Email Delivery step.

A Price List is missing from the picker

Only Price Lists that currently exist in your BigCommerce store appear in the selection field. Create the Price List in BigCommerce first, then reopen the export tool.

Which file format should I choose?

Choose CSV for the simplest and most widely compatible file. Choose Excel if you prefer a native .xlsx workbook for editing in a spreadsheet application.

Can I edit this file and re-import it?

Yes. The exported columns match the Price List Updater format. Edit the pricing values in the spreadsheet, then use the Price List Updater to import the changes into BigCommerce.

The tool asks me to add it to my plan

Export Price List Pricing is a paid tool. Add it to your subscription plan, then return to the tool and start the export.
