Export Price Lists Tool for BigCommerce

In BigCommerce, a Price List assigns a custom set of prices to a specific group of customers or storefronts. Each entry ties a product SKU to one or more prices (regular price, sale price, retail price, and MAP price) that override the default for the customers and channels attached to that list.
This tool exports the entries from the price lists you choose into a spreadsheet, so you can review your pricing, share it, or prepare it for a bulk update.
What it does
- Lets you pick one or more of your existing price lists.
- Pulls every price record from those lists (SKU plus the prices on each entry).
- Builds a CSV or Excel file and emails you a link to download it when it’s ready (you can turn email delivery off if you prefer).
- Runs in the background, so you don’t have to wait on screen.
When to use it
- You want a snapshot of current price list pricing for review or reporting.
- You’re preparing a bulk price change and want the existing prices as a starting point.
- You need to share price list pricing with someone who doesn’t have store access.
- You want to back up your price list entries before making changes.
Before you start
- Make sure the price lists you want to export already exist in BigCommerce.
- Decide whether you want a CSV or an Excel (
.xlsx) file. - This is a paid tool. If it isn’t active for your store yet, you’ll be prompted to add it to your plan.
Step-by-step
1 Open the Export Price List Pricing tool for your BigCommerce store.
2 On Select Price Lists, choose one or more price lists to export. The field is searchable, so you can type to filter.
3 On Export Options, set a Filename (a dated default is provided) and choose a File Format — CSV or Excel.
4 On the email delivery step, the download link is emailed to you when the export finishes. Your account email is prefilled; change it or turn email delivery off if you prefer.
5 Start the export. It’s processed in the background.
6 When it’s ready, download your file from the tool — or from the emailed link.
File / field reference
The exported file contains one row per price list record, with these columns:

The finished file isn’t shown on screen; download it from the tool once the background job completes, or from the emailed link.
Troubleshooting / FAQ
I didn’t get an email.
Give the background job a few minutes, then check your spam folder, confirm the address on the email delivery step, and make sure delivery wasn’t turned off (it’s on by default for exports). You can also download the file from the tool once it finishes.
A price list is missing from the picker.
Only price lists that exist in your BigCommerce store appear. Create the price list first, then re-run the export.
Which format should I pick?
Choose CSV for the simplest, most compatible file, or Excel if you prefer a native .xlsx workbook.
Can I edit this file and re-import it?
Yes — the columns line up with the import tool. After editing prices, use the Price List Updater to push the changes back to BigCommerce.
