Image: If you want to display an image instead of text alerting your shoppers that an item is out of stock, you can! Mouse over the appropriate area to access Heading settings and select Use Image. When Enabled all functions of the app are active, including automatically placing the subscription collection form on out-of-stock items and sending email notifications when items are back in stock.

Migrating from Another App to Back In Stock Wizard
Step 1: Launch the App and Select Your CSV File
If your store has variants, you must be on V3 of the BigCommerce Product Experience in order to import subscriptions for variants.
Back in Stock Wizard makes it easy for you to move to our app from another back-in-stock notification app. However, it requires that the other application allows you to export certain information, including:
- Customer Email Address
- Product ID and/or SKU
- If you're using InStock Notify, the SKU is exported.
- If you're using StockNotify, the Product ID is exported.
- If you're using another app as long as either the Product ID or SKU is exported you will be able to import subscriptions.
- Product Variant ID or SKU
- If you're using InStock Notify, the Variant SKU is exported.
- If you're using StockNotify, the Variant ID is exported.
- If you're using another app as long as either the Variant ID or Variant SKU is exported you will be able to import subscriptions, however, you will only import ONE of those, not both.
- Date the customer subscribed to the notification
That information should be included in a .CSV file which can be imported into Back In Stock Wizard by going to the Control Panel and clicking Settings > Import.
Click on Choose File and upload your file to Back In Stock Wizard.
Step 2: Review Imported Data
Once the file has been uploaded to Back In Stock Wizard, review the sample data provided and if it looks good, click Next.
If it's not as you expected, you may have to clean up some data in order to have a successful import.
Step 3: Map Your Fields
Map the fields in your .CSV file to the appropriate field in Back In Stock Wizard:
- Email: The customer's email address.
- Product ID: The BigCommerce Product ID.
- SKU: The product SKU.
- Variant SKU OR Variant ID: If you have variants with unique SKUs, you will map the Variant SKU OR the Variant ID here. Do not map both fields. If your store has variants, you must be on V3 of the BigCommerce Product Experience in order to import subscriptions for variants. If you're on V2, you cannot import either Variant SKU or Variant ID, so please do not map those fields.
- Created At: The date the customer was added to the notification list in your previous back-in-stock notification app.
Once all fields are mapped, click Next.
Step 4: Confirm the Import
We require one more confirmation that the data you uploaded is what you want to import. If it is, continue with the import by clicking Yes!
Once the import is complete, you will receive a notification and you can return to your dashboard to see the data now loaded into Back In Stock Wizard. If there were errors during import, such as a particular SKU / Product ID no longer existing in your store, or an invalid email address, we will provide a list as well as a .CSV file you can download with the errors:

To create a new export file, go to Settings > Export
Click on Create New Export.
A CSV file will automatically be generated and downloaded. The export file will include one line for each subscription a customer is signed up for. Data exported includes:

- email - The email address of the subscriber.
- sku - Your item's SKU.
- option_sku - Your item's variant SKU.
- product_name - The name of the product.
- created_at - The date and time the subscription was created.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I set up Back In Stock Wizard to send out notifications based on stock quantity?
By default, Back In Stock Wizard will send all subscribers a notification when an item is back in stock, regardless of available inventory quantity. However, we have an option you can set that will allow you to select a percentage of subscribers who will receive a back-in-stock notification based on inventory quantity.
To enable, click on Options on the Back In Stock Wizard menu and enable Notifications to Inventory Percentage.
Once enabled, click on Settings to set the percentage. For example, if you are adding a quantity of 100 to an out-of-stock item, and there are 200 subscribers, a setting of 100% will only send 100 back-in-stock notifications. A setting of 75% will only send 75 back-in notifications.
Notifications are sent in order of oldest to newest subscribers.
Once your percentage is set, click Save.
You can also disable this option by clicking Disable from this screen, or the option's tile on the Options screen.
Once disabled, Back In Stock Wizard will revert to sending in-stock notifications to all subscribers on a subscription list when inventory is replenished.

TERM AND TERMINATION
These Terms of Use shall remain in full force and effect while you use the Site. WITHOUT LIMITING ANY OTHER PROVISION OF THESE TERMS OF USE, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO, IN OUR SOLE DISCRETION AND WITHOUT NOTICE OR LIABILITY, DENY ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE SITE (INCLUDING BLOCKING CERTAIN IP ADDRESSES), TO ANY PERSON FOR ANY REASON OR FOR NO REASON, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION FOR BREACH OF ANY REPRESENTATION, WARRANTY, OR COVENANT CONTAINED IN THESE TERMS OF USE OR OF ANY APPLICABLE LAW OR REGULATION. WE MAY TERMINATE YOUR USE OR PARTICIPATION IN THE SITE OR DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT AND ANY CONTENT OR INFORMATION THAT YOU POSTED AT ANY TIME, WITHOUT WARNING, IN OUR SOLE DISCRETION.
If we terminate or suspend your account for any reason, you are prohibited from registering and creating a new account under your name, a fake or borrowed name, or the name of any third party, even if you may be acting on behalf of the third party. However, we have no obligation to update any information on our Site. We also reserve the right to modify or discontinue all or part of the Site without notice at any time. We reserve the right to change, revise, update, suspend, discontinue, or otherwise modify the Site at any time or for any reason without notice to you. You agree that we have no liability whatsoever for any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by your inability to access or use the Site during any downtime or discontinuance of the Site. Nothing in these Terms of Use will be construed to obligate us to maintain and support the Site or to supply any corrections, updates, or releases in connection therewith.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms of Use and your use of the Site are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California applicable to agreements made and to be entirely performed within the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Informal Negotiations
To expedite resolution and control the cost of any dispute, controversy, or claim related to these Terms of Use (each a "Dispute" and collectively, the “Disputes”) brought by either you or us (individually, a “Party” and collectively, the “Parties”), the Parties agree to first attempt to negotiate any Dispute (except those Disputes expressly provided below) informally for at least thirty (30) days before initiating arbitration. Such informal negotiations commence upon written notice from one Party to the other Party.
Binding Arbitration
If the Parties are unable to resolve a Dispute through informal negotiations, the Dispute (except those Disputes expressly excluded below) will be finally and exclusively resolved by binding arbitration. YOU UNDERSTAND THAT WITHOUT THIS PROVISION, YOU WOULD HAVE THE RIGHT TO SUE IN COURT AND HAVE A JURY TRIAL. The arbitration shall be commenced and conducted under the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") and, where appropriate, the AAA’s Supplementary Procedures for Consumer Related Disputes ("AAA Consumer Rules"), both of which are available at the AAA website www.adr.org. Your arbitration fees and your share of arbitrator compensation shall be governed by the AAA Consumer Rules and, where appropriate, limited by the AAA Consumer Rules. If such costs are determined to by the arbitrator to be excessive, we will pay all arbitration fees and expenses. The arbitration may be conducted in person, through the submission of documents, by phone, or online. The arbitrator will make a decision in writing, but need not provide a statement of reasons unless requested by either Party. The arbitrator must follow applicable law, and any award may be challenged if the arbitrator fails to do so. Except where otherwise required by the applicable AAA rules or applicable law, the arbitration will take place in Orange County, California. Except as otherwise provided herein, the Parties may litigate in court to compel arbitration, stay proceedings pending arbitration, or to confirm, modify, vacate, or enter judgment on the award entered by the arbitrator.
If for any reason, a Dispute proceeds in court rather than arbitration, the Dispute shall be commenced or prosecuted in the state and federal courts located in Orange County, California, and the Parties hereby consent to, and waive all defenses of lack of personal jurisdiction, and forum non-conveniens with respect to venue and jurisdiction in such state and federal courts. Application of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and the Uniform Computer Information Transaction Act (UCITA) are excluded from these Terms of Use.
In no event shall any Dispute brought by either Party related in any way to the Site be commenced more than one (1) years after the cause of action arose. If this provision is found to be illegal or unenforceable, then neither Party will elect to arbitrate any Dispute falling within that portion of this provision found to be illegal or unenforceable and such Dispute shall be decided by a court of competent jurisdiction within the courts listed for jurisdiction above, and the Parties agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of that court.
Restrictions
The Parties agree that any arbitration shall be limited to the Dispute between the Parties individually. To the full extent permitted by law, (a) no arbitration shall be joined with any other proceeding; (b) there is no right or authority for any Dispute to be arbitrated on a class-action basis or to utilize class action procedures, and (c) there is no right or authority for any Dispute to be brought in a purported representative capacity on behalf of the general public or any other persons.
Exceptions to Informal Negotiations and Arbitration
The Parties agree that the following Disputes are not subject to the above provisions concerning informal negotiations and binding arbitration: (a) any Disputes seeking to enforce or protect, or concerning the validity of, any of the intellectual property rights of a Party; (b) any Dispute related to, or arising from, allegations of theft, piracy, invasion of privacy, or unauthorized use; and (c) any claim for injunctive relief.
